Connect Patreon to Discord
If your Lagrange Studios Patreon tier includes Discord access, connect the Discord account that should receive your Proto Nova supporter role.
- Open Patreon SettingsSign in to Patreon and select Settings from the left-side menu.
- Find Connected AppsSelect More, then open Connected Apps.
- Connect DiscordChoose Discord, select Connect, and sign in to the Discord account that should receive your role.
- Authorize PatreonReview the authorization screen and select Authorize. Refresh Patreon if the connection does not appear immediately.
- Join the serverReturn to Patreon's Discord Apps settings. When the Lagrange Studios server appears, select Join server.
- Check your roleOpen Discord using the connected account. Patreon should assign the role associated with your eligible membership tier.
What happens next? Patreon manages the role linked to your tier. If your membership changes, expires, or has a declined payment, the role may be updated or removed automatically.
I did not get my Patreon role
- Confirm your Lagrange Studios membership is active and its payment was not declined.
- Check that your tier includes Discord access.
- Open Patreon Connected Apps and select Join server if it is shown.
- Make sure the Discord account currently open is the account connected to Patreon.
- Disconnect and reconnect Discord in Patreon to restart synchronization.
Allow some time for Patreon to assign the role. If it is still missing, open a support ticket.
I connected the wrong Discord account
- Open Patreon Settings → More → Connected Apps.
- Disconnect Discord from Patreon.
- Log out of Discord in your browser and desktop app.
- Clear the browser's Patreon and Discord cookies if it keeps selecting the old account.
- Reconnect Discord from Patreon and sign in with the correct account.
Never share either account's password or authentication code with Proto Nova support.
The Discord authorization window did not open
A browser setting or extension is probably blocking Patreon's authorization window.
- Allow pop-ups for patreon.com.
- Temporarily disable ad-blocking or strict privacy extensions on Patreon.
- Return to Connected Apps and select Connect beside Discord again.
- If it still fails, try a private window or a different browser.
The Lagrange Studios server does not appear
- Verify that your active Patreon tier includes Discord access.
- Check for a declined or paused membership payment.
- Reconnect Discord from Patreon Connected Apps.
- Leave an unused Discord server if your account has reached its server limit.
When the server appears in Patreon's Discord settings, select Join server.

Join the Proto Nova Discord and open a support ticket if the automated steps did not restore access.
Include these details
- Your Patreon tier name.
- Whether Patreon shows Discord as connected.
- Whether the Lagrange Studios server appears in Connected Apps.
- Any error message you received.
Keep your account secure: Never send your password, access token, backup code, or two-factor authentication code to anyone.
